The inquisition court in Logrono heard the case of the witches of Zugarramurdi, a tiny town in the province of Galicia. As a result, the community retains most of its old buildings and has a spooky atmosphere. At the end of the 30–40 minute ride, we'll arrive at Zgarramurdi Village, where witches congregated for "aquelarre" and plotted against the village residents. This hour or so will be spent touring the Zugarramurdi Museum of Witchcraft and History. Afterward, we'll stop for a tasty pintxo lunch before returning to our hotel or apartment in the center of the city.
